National Finalist for “Gillette Drafted: Search for Canada’s Next Top Sportscaster”, finishing third overall. Competed in the reality-style competition in skills such as interview techniques, building highlight packages, on-camera presence and personality. Co-hosted a live national television show, and participated in live finale. Represented Gillette as a spokesperson on national television and in web advertisements.
St. Thomas University Alumni Department May – October 2009
Position of “Homecoming Coordinator”. Responsible for writing news stories and features for the alumni magazine, Connections, in the Alumni Affairs Office at St. Thomas University. Involved in event planning and documentary-style filming for the upcoming 2010 centenary celebrations. Researched and wrote athlete profiles for the 2010 Athletic Wall of Fame.
St. Thomas University Student Athlete Council September 2007 – present
Held position of member, Events Coordinator and, currently, President. Acted as the liaison between athletes, the Athletic Department and the student body. Organized social gatherings, team banquets and fundraisers for the Athletic Department, including a fundraiser for Right To Play and the year-end Athletics Banquet.
The Aquinian September 2007-present
Contributing to the weekly campus newspaper as a features writer and sports reporter. Responsible for writing student and athlete profiles, as well as several episodes of the weekly column, “The Sports Writer Challenge”.

Waitress and Refreshment Cart. Responsible for working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service to patrons, serving food and alcohol, and handling funds.
Boston Pizza Sackville April – August 2008
Hostess and Expeditor. Responsible for greeting patrons, creating seating charts and seating customers in an efficient manner. Liaised between the kitchen staff and servers, preparing food to be served to the customers.
Ashburn Golf Course April – August 2007
Professional Shop. Created and maintained a daily schedule of tee-times, sold golf apparel and merchandise, handled funds. Liaised between the club members and professional staff.
